Who is the non-profit that Veterans Terrace supports?
The mission of Veterans Terrace is to fund and support the Burlington Community Fund. Our couples love knowing that by having their wedding at Veterans Terrace, they are helping us give back to our community and surrounding area. The Burlington Community Fund supports our local schools, non-profits, veterans, and many other organizations that apply for grants.
What is the starting site fee for wedding receptions?
Our receptions start $2,400 and go up to $4,900 depending on the day and time of year.
What is the fee to have a ceremony on the outdoor Terrace?
Ceremony fees range from $900 to $1,200 depending on the day/date of your event.
How many event spaces does your venue offer?
We have four thoughtfully designed event spaces. Our 6,000 sq ft Liberty Hall Ballroom, our 1,400 sq ft Stars & Stripes room, our 2,000 sq ft Patriot Lounge, and our 3,000 sq ft outdoor Memorial Terrace.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Veterans Terrace is the sole provider of all beverages.
Can I bring my own food?
All food must come from a fully licensed and insured caterer. Our preferred caterer list can be found under the vendor list on this website.
Are tables, chairs, and linens included in the rental?
Yes, we’ve got you covered!
Is there an Event Coordinator?
We have a very experienced staff that will be here throughout your wedding day to assist and make sure everything runs smoothly.
What time does the event have to start/end?
Ceremonies can start anytime after 4:30 pm and bars can open any time after 5:00 pm. Our last dances are usually around 11:45 with guests out at Midnight.
Is there a Bar Minimum?
Yes, dates & day of week will affect this rate. Contact us for more information.
What does Veterans Terrace include with Receptions?
Included in your base rental price is all linens, bartenders, tables, banquet chairs, and event staff.
What are the decoration packages?
Veterans Terrace offers Full Hall Decoration and Light Packages that are the easy button for our couples! We do all of the set up and clean up…our couples just choose from the vast array of decorations shown on our online link and we do the rest!
What time should guests arrive?
Guests can arrive any time after 4:00 pm.
Where can guests park?
We have almost 150 spots in our lots, plus there is a three-story parking garage just a block away.
How many guests can Veterans Terrace accommodate?
We can accommodate up to 400 guests for a reception but it is most comfortable to keep your guest list under 350 so we don’t have tables on the dance floor.
Can I schedule a weeknight wedding?
We do offer a discount for weeknight weddings. Weeknight weddings start any time after 5:00 pm and end at 10:00 pm.
Are there activities and options for things to do if we want to extend our visit?
